I can't imagine a hockey team playing for the cup, laying down like Phoenix did last night, in front of their own fans no less.

Chris Paul finally fell off the cliff. For many it can be sudden.

That suns team is in trouble. Do they over pay Ayton---who is a decent center but really nothing special? Paul is probably toast. Their best player is a 6'5'' 2 guard that isn't more much than a shooter and is a liability defensively.

Tough spot.

I tried to watch hockey, I just can't

I'm a basketball man, as is most of America, hence the salary differential

I understand hockey fans are passionate about their sport, I'm OK with that

Absolutely, even signed up to be a season ticket holder when the state was making it's pitch

That was 1997. Haven't followed since although I dabbled a bit recently

Definitely NHL playoffs better and NBA playoffs...in my opinion at least...no other sport not even MMA/boxing/football are people literally willing to take slap shots to their face and body for their team...no other sport do the losing teams go over to the winning team to line up to shake hands and congratulate the winners...sudden death overtime...I watch NHL and MLB and CFL and have tried to watch NBA/NCAA/NFL but it just seems weak compared to watching a sport where players are allowed to choose to defend themselves with bare knuckle fist fights that's the ultimate way to tell others players to fuck off or get the fuck outta my way...
